About PT InterCoastal Indonesia
PT InterCoastal Indonesia was established in February 2001 under Notary Deed No. 27 and is licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. The company initially served as the exclusive marketer for RaetsMarine Insurance B.V. of the Netherlands, providing fixed-premium coverage for vessels under 5,000 GT.
In 2005, InterCoastal transitioned into an insurance broker and risk consultant, officially registered with APPARINDO. Following the acquisition of RaetsMarine by MS Amlin in 2012, the company expanded its partnerships with multiple international insurance providers.
In 2016, InterCoastal merged with PT Cipta Unijasa Insurance Brokers, bringing together more than 30 years of maritime insurance expertise. This strategic milestone strengthened our capability to serve a broad client base across both private enterprises and government institutions.
Today, PT InterCoastal Indonesia stands as one of Indonesia’s leading marine and P&I insurance brokers, working closely with global P&I clubs, hull underwriters, and our affiliate PT Cipta Colemon Asia to deliver reliable coverage and efficient claims management.
