PT. InterCoastal Indonesia was established in February 2001
under Notary Deed No. 27 and licensed by Indonesia’s Ministry of
Industry and Trade (No. 294/0904/PM/2001). Initially appointed
as the exclusive marketer for RaetsMarine Insurance B.V
(Netherlands), it provided fixed-premium coverage for vessels
under 5,000 GT. In 2005, it transitioned into an insurance broker
and risk consultant, registered with APPARINDO (No. I 16-
2005/APPARINDO/2013).

Following RaetsMarine’s acquisition by MS Amlin in 2012, the
company expanded partnerships with other international
providers. In 2016, it merged with PT. Cipta Uni]asa Insurance
Brokers, leveraging 30 years of maritime insurance expertise to
serve clients across private and government sectors.

Today, as a leading P&I and marine insurance broker in
Indonesia, PT. InterCoastal collaborates with global P&I clubs,
hull underwriters, and its affiliate PT. Cipta Colemon Asia to
deliver comprehensive coverage and efficient claims handling
for marine and non-marine risks.

In line with its growth strate and commitment to client needs,
PT. InterCoastal Indonesia has expanded its services beyond
marine insurance. The company now offers a wide range of
insurance solutions—including Employee Benefits, Finance
Insurance, Motor Vehicle, Property & Engineering, and Ener &
Aviation—ensuring that clients receive holistic protection for
their businesses and assets. By broadening its scope,
